I feel it’s only but right to write a review regarding Dod and his team’s performance regarding the above work, as trying to get “good” tradesman can be hard to find.
I shall start the review at the quote stage.
After giving Dod a quick call and going over my requirements he made arrangements for a site visit. He arrived at the house as agreed “First good point”… I found him to be down to earth, plain talking and pleasant “Second good point”… after measuring up the job he gave me rough time line (March 2013) as to when he could start the job. A month later we have the quote, to me it was a reasonable price, and ultimately I’m looking for a quality job, only time will tell! So we make the call and told him to schedule us in.
We received a call the month Dod thought he could start the job “Third good point. He’s not forgotten about us”! During the call he confirmed exactly when he and his team will be starting the job (April 2013).
Dod and his team arrived on site to start the job as agreed and focused on my project “Forth good point”. Good progress was made every day and the work was completed in a timely manner. Ultimately was it a quality job? Absolutely!!! “This is the good point you’re looking for”!
The material and finish is of a high standard, Dod and his team are a good honest pleasant bunch with an eye for detail, what more can you ask for?
So, would I use him again? Yes, and I have already asked for another quote for further work (replacement UPVC windows and doors) and I have no concerns or reservations.
I must also confess to whoever reads this that I “in a past life” was a Joiner, I have perhaps a better understanding than most in what’s involved in the work that was done. This probably makes me hard customer as I would like to think I too have an eye for detail, however I’m not disappointed!
Thank you for taking the time to read this review,
Kind regards,
Neil.
P.S.
Thanks to Dod and his team!
